This was never going to be an easy game against a very strong Harborne 5s team currently at the top of the league. This was made exceptionally hard because we had to go out with a team of only 9 players due to last minute availability issues. However the 9 of us there went out full of enthusiasm and determined to enjoy it and despite the scoreline we did. In all honesty Harborne were in control for the majority of the game and it was played mostly in our half but we certainly did not disgrace ourselves. Becky Smith had a fabulous game and was very strong at Centre Back and Mary Travers was key in the Centre Mid Field and was given the player of the match. In addition credit needs to go Tilly Hallet for scoring our only goal. There were occasions when we did get the break and pushed forward but were unable to finish the opportunities.
