Stick Amnesty for Worcestershire Schools

1 year ago By Andy Hadley

Worcester Hockey Club helping to improve the delivery of hockey into local schools.

Worcester Hockey Club is getting a great response from local Schools in Worcestershire who are seeking to include hockey into PE lessons, run workshops, start after school clubs and even create new school teams.

One of the biggest issues is lack of equipment, especially sticks.

No doubt many of you will have an old sticks as a spare, however if you have an old stick gathering dust in the corner of the garage or shed, which you would be willing to donate then please offer these to Andy Hadley, Paul Merrell, Paul Simons and we will ensure the local schools give them a new home. We will even do minor repairs if needed.

Also if you have any hockey balls hidden away please can you make these available too.

This stick amnesty will help the club to build bridges between local schools and the club and ultimately feed the next generation into this great sport.

Thanks in advance
