Womens 1st XI v Solihull Blossomfield

Worcester started well putting pressure on the Solihull defence and creating a few chances, but were unable to find the target. As frustration grew for Worcester, Solihull began to build in confidence creating some good attacking play. They broke through the Worcester defence with some creative play, quickly going 0-1 up, followed in quick succession with another, making it 0-2 by half time. Worcester continued to find themselves under pressure and making mistakes after the break, which led them to be 0-3 down. Despite odd moments of inspiration, Worcester rarely looked like they would threaten the Solihull defence and find a way through or a come back. Despite the loss, Worcester look forward to the away trip this coming weekend at Leek to return to winning ways!
