Worcester took a little while to settle at the beginning of the match, which allowed Solihull to settle into their game and put Worcester under pressure. Worcesters goal came late in the second half when a free hit taken quickly by Millie Wemyss found Helen Barnes who fired the ball into the circle, which got deflected perfectly to find Clare Hayes who calmly slotted the ball home.
