The 5ths secured a well deserved win against a youthful Cheltenham side with a a composed performance. Worcester started well moving the ball around nicely and dominating possession. They were rewarded after 15 minutes when Matt Brindley fired home after a good team move. Simon Griffiths doubled the lead soon after from a short corner, then before half time Adam taylor made it 3-0. In the second half Cheltenham came out stronger and forced Worcester onto the back foot. The soon pulled a goal back, then added another, before Griffiths netted his second from the top of the dee to make it 4-2. This steady Worcester's nerves, they regained their composure and soon added another two goals again with Matt Brindley firing home following some great team play. Cheltenham pulled another goal back but Worcester had done enough.
