Worcester made the long journey to Lichfield with a changed side from the previous week. The game started superbly when Matt Brindley fired home within 2 minutes as swift passing opened up the home team. Soon after Josh Edge fired the ball home from a short corner. Lichfield bounced back and a defensive error lead to a short corner, which was slammed home to make the score 2-1. Worcester attacked again and had a number of chances saved by the keeper before Edge scored his second before the break. In the second half Worcester forced Lichfield back into their own half and constant pressure resulted in 2 swift goals for Matt Sharratt. Worcester made it six when Kevin Oliver finished a swift counter attack, before Matt Sharratt got his hat trick shortly before full time. Great performances all round.
