The 5ths got their season off to a flying start with a 6-2 win over Lansdowne 3rd. The 5s started well moving the ball around nicely and soon took the lead through Seb Hood following a good move down the right hand side. They doubled this lead soon after when Kev Oliver fired home a loose ball. In the second half Seb Hood converted a penalty flick before Stuart Mackeller and Matt Sharratt made it 5-0. Lansdowne rallied and pulled a goal back before Simon Griffiths scored Worcesters 6th from a short corner. Lansdowne then added a second with a great run and strike from their right wing. Great performances from Tom Scotson and Ali Borwell-Fox.
