This was a great result for Worcester against a much changed Stourport side. Worcster started well moving the ball nicely but Stourport attacked quickly whenever Worcester lost possession. Within ten minutes Stourport took the lead their forward slotting the ball home nicely from the top of the dee. Undettered Worcester upped their game raising the tempo and forcing the Stourport keeper into action. Soon after they found an equaliser when Gerry Ogle fired home a short corner. Within five minutes Worcester took the lead when Matt Brindleys first time shot beat the advancing keeper, then shortly before half time Kev Oliver added a third firing home a loose ball at a short corner. In the second half Stourport pushed Worcester back into their own half and created a number of chances, but they were denied some excellent goal keeping from James Hurley. Controversially Stourport had a goal from a short corner disallowed, after that the Worcester defence looked in control as they saw the game out for a deserved win.
