Worcester 5ths earned a vital 3 points with a hard fought win over Warwick students. With just the bare 11 Worcester faced a rear guard action almost from the off but defended superbly, and caused problems for the students on the counter attack. Worcester had a great chance to take the lead in the first half when they were awarded a penalty flick but Matt Sharratt's flick didn't really trouble the keeper ! Undeterred Worcester pressed on and shortly into the second half took the lead when Matt Sharratt scored from a well worked short corner. From then on Worcester were forced onto the back foot and despite conceding a number of short corners and twice being reduced to 10 men, they clung on for the win.
