A good win for the 5s against a young and very fit Warwick uni. The visitors started well taking an early lead. However, Worcester dug in and started to move the ball around nicely, creating pressure on the visitors goal. They were denied an equaliser when a Dave Lewis drag flick was plucked out of the air by a defender, but shortly after they won another short corner, that Chris Wood fired home on his reverse. Chances came and went at both ends but at half time the scores were still level. Worcester came out brighter in the second half moving the ball well and putting pressure on the Warwick dee. They soon took the lead when Dave Lewis scored from a well struck short corner, then soon after Matt Wood drove the ball home again from a short corner. James Hurley in the Worcester goal needed to make a couple of one on one saves but the game never looked in doubt by this point.
