Worcester 5th held league leaders Worcester 4th to a 2-2 draw, in an exciting and intriguing game. The 4s started better capitalising on some poor defending in the opening 5 minutes to flash a shot past the 5s post. This proved a wake up call to the 5s who then started to up their game. After about 20 minutes the 4s broke the deadlock with Elliot Lamond nicely finishing off a good team move. Again the 5s fought back winning a couple of short corners but by half time they were still a goal behind. In the second half the 5s forced the 4s back into their own half and soon levelled when Dave Lewis beat 3 defenders before slotting the ball home from a long corner. The 5s piled on the pressure dominating the next 10 minutes of the game before Chris Woods gave them the lead lifting the ball over the oncoming keeper from a tight angle after a great run around the back of the 4s defence. The remaining minutes saw the 4s pile on the pressure but it wasn't until the last minute of the game that they finally snatched an equaliser when Jon Senior volleyed home from close range.
