So the league has begun and the Adonis out of his summer hibernation has returned to the writing room at Adonis towers.

So the league has begun and the Adonis out of his summer hibernation has returned to the writing room at Adonis towers.
The sevenths learned early on in the summer that Lord Matthew Hooper wanted them to up their game and become the new fifth team; the heroes knew just like Matthew Sharratt they would be punching above their weight, however they grasped the challenge.
The fabulously beautiful fifths welcomed Old Hales fourth team to Nunnery Wood, Barrack O Waters assembled much of the previous seventh team with a few faces to take on the challenge.
The game started at a lively pace, Old Hales decided they obviously needed to give us a chance so scored our first goal for us.
Old Hales got a couple of lucky goals and went in to a 2-1 lead however the heros were not to be denied and battle back to a 2-2 score line at half time.
The half time team talk saw words of encouragement from everyone including Muddy Waters for a rare change.
The second half started and Worcester did not look back, tearing Old Hales apart, four more goals from the fifths and a consolation from the visitors saw the score end 6-3
Special mention to Stewart Flisher who took the photos in the second half whilst playing centre back, Ben Glass for diving better than Tom Daley and Paul Sharratt for scoring from a short corner on the 11th attempt. (only 11? - Ed)

Man of the match: Jack Barnes - absolute quality but not ready to move up to any team for at least 4 years.
Dod:Alex Kloda for getting a green card then trying to squeeze in to some skinny jeans.

Adonis for the first time this season.......out
