On a very bitter, chilly day , even though the sun was shining everyone was double wrapped. Both teams throughout played some good hockey with Sutton Coldfield being more disciplined. The first half saw chances for both sides but failed to produce any goals . When the opposition attacked Keeper Eloise Seale kept any chances at bay. The midfield of Cameron Palmer, Alastair Borwell-Fox and Immi Gilgrass created a number of attacking moves but the hosts midfield had 3 very good players and on the odd occasion we struggled. Happy with 0-0 at half time. Soon after the break through a lapse of concentration Sutton grabbed 2 well taken goals in open play. Although our players positions altered due to rolling on and off , our defensive line included Milly Short, Cameron Davidson and Ned Dickinson did well to keep the score to a deserved 2-0 win for Sutton. Our senior player was exemplary in his direction and encouragement . There was the usual super refreshments at Suttons clubhouse afterwards.
