The Men's 2nds came out 4-0 winners over the 3rds.

The game started with 2s playing with a good press and managed to put the pressure on the 3s. This paid off and got an early lead through new signing Dan Hinchliffe with a debut goal. Ross Leighton got the second goal from a short corner and the 3rd team started to get some joy and caused the 2s defenders some issues coming close to getting a goal back a number of times. James Quinn and Austin Shipley deserve massive credit to keeping the 2s at only 2 goals.

Half time 0-2

The second half saw the 2 gain control and keep the pressure on but having to watch the 3s breakaway counter attack. The 2s skipper saw something and changed the front 2. Asher Johnson and Matthew Hooper went up top and instantly had an impact on the game and with a couple of turn overs and a great break from Ryan Aaron Feeding his skipper the ball. The Skipper made space a smashed home a reverse stick shot to the corner to make it 0-3. The dying minutes saw Jeremy Drake also bang a good reverse in from the top of the D to close the game out 0-4.

Man of the Match Ally Borwell top top game today.
DOD Ross Leighton for some slightly wayward passing.
