score: 4-1 to Worcester 2s

The game started with an intense and high press, leading to a quick and early chance with all of the forwards and myself having the first miss of the game, taking too long to shoot, however this didn’t stop the intensity. The second chance came from an attack on the left side of the pitch with Zac, then getting clattered by the keeper and another awful decision from the umpire, Ethan decided to take the ball and smash it against the post selflessly so Tom could smash it in for the first goal of the game. The umpire continued to make some awful decisions this half, however this didn’t stop Dillon from scoring the second goal of the game (by stealing a reverse flick from Zac Goodman off the line) further extending our lead. After this Ali made some awesome saves when the other team were on the counter attack so quick shoutout, this then led to Sam Grew getting clattered by one of their players which the umpire didn’t see a problem with, Sam used this pent up rage to smash one top bins in the 3rd goal of the game. Second half started with high intensity and managed to win a short corner after every other decision for the past 50 minutes went against us, Dillon had a flaccid injection however James took the chance and smashed it into the bottom corner making a 4-0 lead. They eventually scored a consolation goal which was probably down to tiredness not too sure. Overall solid performance boys great for first game of the season ?
