11 men (well 10 if you class the 2 injuries!) made the long and late journey up to Nottingham for a 3pm start. They started the game sluggishly with some quick intense play putting Worcester on the back foot. However the defence held firm and Worcester soon grew into the game and begin to press high in Boots half. The pressure paid off with Jordan Webb finishing a well worked move. Worcester continued to press and got caught on the break with Reg Sharratt rolling back the years with a fine save from a 2 on 1. Worcester hit straight back with Andy Hackman's reverse strike flying in the top corner from a tight angle. Just before half time amazing pressure from Jack Ferman dispossessed the Boots defence before spinning the keeper to slot home. 3-0 at half time. Worcester started the 2nd half in the same way and were soon 4-0 up with Jordan Webb scoring from a short corner. It was soon 5-0 with an excellent team move seeing Ollie Betteridge smash the ball in the top corner from a tight angle. Worcester were unfortunate to concede from a late well worked short corner but take nothing away from this excellent team performance. Final Score 5-1.
