Worcester made the journey to Warwick University on a Sunday due to it being a rearranged fixture knowing the enormity of the task ahead of them. They started on the back foot and after a slick move which could have seen them take the lead, an intense 10 minutes from the opposition saw Worcester 3-0 down inside 15 minutes. This sparked Worcester back into life and they came back into the game with some neat play which resulted in Jack Ferman starting and finishing a move to make it 3-1 before Andy Hackman finished another fast paced move and meant it was 3-2 at half time. An injury to the captain meant they had to reshuffle the pack and Worcester again found themselves on the back foot with Warwick scoring early again. Worcester did create chances but the opposition keeper was in fine form and denied them on several occasions. Warwick continued to press and eventually added 2 more to make the final score 6-2.
