A much change midfield line up for the M5's saw two new comers to the club James Vallance and Matthew Evans slot straight into midfield, along with Matt Seers from the M6' and Mark G. This new line up didn't take long to settle and improved as the game progressed. A familiar back line of George, James & Gerry with another new comer Baylon and from he 6's stood firm. There were moments of pressure from the Opposition my Marc Chorley between the posts dealt with everything. We gave enough short corners away to keep him busy but they couldn't find a way through.

Preater and Coppo leading the attack were both on the scoresheet first half and Mark added a third in the second. After the half time team talk the M5's tried to slow down, make more decisive passes and less of the crash balls. Most of the game was controlled well. A great game to bed in the new faces and get some needed fitness before the first league game against a tough Bournville & Kings Heath 4 side relegated from Div 7 last year.

Thank you to Rhys for helping both sides out on the night, and to Gerry for his constant coaching!
