A rare thing this season, the 7ners regrouped from their travels of supporting other teams to actually having their own league game. This was only our third league match as 7ners this season. With one win and one loss, I guess it was written in our stars that today would be a draw. A match that we dominated from beginning to the end with lots of promise and plenty of effort from all, but alas no goal, felt disappointing as we all know we really should have come away with all the points. We’ve come along way and played some much improved hockey as a unified team, just need to keep some width even into the last third and some composure in front of goal. From the side lines I’m sure we provided a fair share of entertainment as Joe Jackman hit the post and our umpires piled the pressure on us, awarding Redditch two short corners to end the game.
