2s play for remembrance day

Ladies twos played Stourport today observing a minutes silence for rememberance before push back.
The game was held at 0-0 in the first half despite some great interchanges and play from the Worcester players, and one save from the post. The second half both teams were chasing an elusive goal, with Lucy Grace breaking the deadlock to take Worcester 1-0 up....however, a lucky short corner strike brought the visitors level. Worcester continued to fight on but Stourport picked up a cross deflection to lead 2-1. Worcester defence saved numerous short corners to keep the hosts within reach but it wasn’t meant to be. Mom from the team went to debut player Jess (Sarah Waddington) for a fantastic game even taking a stick to the head for her efforts ? Well done everyone, let’s keep fighting to get our winning ways back on track ⚫️?
