L4’s played Harbourne at home, managing to play in some half decent weather as well. Many thanks to Adrian Shipley and Meg Robyn for umpiring!

The first half saw some sloppiness from Worcester, but off the back of a sloppy game two weeks ago and a week off that was to be expected. A great goal came from Worcester in the first half but also a goal from Harbourne due to a lack of structure in defence.

Second half, we found our mojo and upped our game. We started connecting our passes better, and played with much more intensity, as Harbourne became more of a threat to our 1-1 draw. However, we overcame this and we scored four goals in the second half, and Harbourne scored one from another lack of defensive structure. However, Harbourne had numerous short corners, we won’t go into detail what for as no one actually knows and they scored off none, so our short corners are really improving as a team.

Goals from- Caitlin, Millie, Grace and tbc who else.
Mom- Caitlin for some fantastic play up front, but mentions must also go to Phoebe March on an incredible piece of hockey which led to our forth goal, and Kate Sanderson on some strong defending.
Muppet- myself for nearly getting carded, for asking what a short corner was for ??‍♀️ ??‍♀️

I am blown away by the commitment and the talent in the 4s, and they’re an absolutely amazing team to be captain off
