3. Sponsorship

In order to raise funds for the new hockey centre (consisting of two state of the art, international standard, water based astroturf pitches, and pavilion facilities including changing rooms, club room with kitchen, reception and meet and greet area) Worcester Hockey Club is seeking sponsorship at all levels from the complete facility downwards.
The total cost of this project is £2.9 million pounds, to build on land specifically set aside for a hockey development by Worcester City Council.

It is a joint venture between Worcester Hockey Club (WHC) and the Royal Grammar School Worcester (RGS); who each have to raise £400,000 to complete the project.
The need for a Worcester Hockey Centre is supported by Sport England, England Hockey, Hockey GB, The County Sports Partnership, the University of Worcester, Worcester City Council and the current South Worcestershire Playing Pitch Strategy

WHC fully intends to raise as much as possible internally but with a project of this size we need assistance in the form of grants, loans, donations, and sponsorship.
